On September 17, grandparents took a tour of the school with their grandchildren. After visiting and touring, they had refreshments in the new indoor playroom.
Ashland City Elementary will offer free fruits and vegetables to students this school year due to a
federal grant of $22,445.00. The grants are provided through the United States Department of
Agriculture. The cafeteria will prepare the fresh fruits and vegetables, no canned or frozen or
vacuum packed will be used. The snacks will be distributed on Wednesdays and Fridays.
