Guidance

 

Please allow me to introduce myself to you.  My name is Yolanda S. Grant.  I am the new School Counselor at A.C.E.S.  I am also new to Cheatham County, TN.  I am originally from South Carolina.  I have resided in Atlanta, GA for the past 8 years.  

 

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from South Carolina State University.  I dedicated ten years to that profession. In 2007, I received a M.Ed. in School Counseling from Cambridge College.

 

I am excited about participating in your child’s educational and personal growth. I will be following the TN Comprehensive Guidance Curriculum.  It consists of Classroom Guidance, Small Group Counseling, and Individual Counseling.  

 

In addition to working with students, I will also work with teachers, parents, and administration in helping to ensure and promote student success.  Please feel free to contact me at any time at 615-792-4296.  Again, I am very excited about working with the Ashland City Elementary School Community.
