Dear Parents and Guardians,
When parents and schools work together, children do better in school and schools improve. If parents are an integral part of the entire learning process, children become a part of a lifelong learning community. The Parent/School relationship should be a collaboration where we work together, not against each other. In an effort to do this, we at ACES are striving to:
· Make sure our school is welcoming to everyone
· Create frequent and clear communication with parents which is two-way communication
· Provide opportunities for parents to support our school and community
· Work with parents on issues which are important to you
· Convey the message that this is OUR school, not just the faculty and staff’s school
Parents are the greatest asset to any school. You are your child’s first teacher, and you know your child better than anyone else. If we work together as a team, we can achieve greatness for our students.
I appreciate all the support you have given me in my first year as principal. I am not the principal I want to be, but I am learning daily how to be an effective principal. Thank you for your kind words and patience as I learn this new job.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kathy Adams
A.C.E.S. Principal
